Important legal information about the use of the Dutchbeard services.

In this disclaimer, "Dutchbeard services" means: this account portal (account.dutchbeard.nl), the associated apps (including RailBox and Dienstkaartje.nl) and all other websites and applications that I offer under the name Dutchbeard.

1. Copyright and use of content

Unless stated otherwise, all content on the Dutchbeard websites and in the Dutchbeard apps is subject to my copyright as Dutchbeard.
Except for publicly available RSS feeds on Dutchbeard domains, no part of this content may be copied, stored in an automated file or made public (in any form whatsoever: electronic, mechanical, by photocopy or recording) without my prior written permission.
For the name Dutchbeard, the logo and the visual identity elements, what is set out in section 8 (Intellectual property) of the Terms and Conditions applies in addition.
Notice & Takedown. Do you believe that intellectual property is being infringed in one of the Dutchbeard services? Report this via brievenbus@dutchbeard.nl with as concrete a description of the infringement as possible and, where possible, evidence that you hold the rights. After confirmation of a well-founded report, I will remove or restrict the material in question from the relevant Dutchbeard service within 48 hours.

2. Third-party brands and trademarks

The Dutchbeard services may contain third-party brand names, logos or abbreviations, for example of carriers, infrastructure managers or manufacturers. These remain the property of the respective rights holders and are used by me solely for identification and information purposes. Such use implies no cooperation, endorsement or approval by those parties, unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. References to external websites

The Dutchbeard services may contain references (links) to websites or services that are not operated by me. I have no control over the content, availability, quality or privacy policy of those external websites and accept no liability for them. Use of an external website is at your own risk and is subject to the terms of the relevant operator.

4. No professional or safety-critical advice

The information in the Dutchbeard services is intended as general information. It is expressly not professional advice (such as legal, financial, medical or safety advice) and is no substitute for it. Specifically for the railway context, travel, duty and railway information within Dutchbeard apps is indicative and is not intended to replace official announcements from the carrier or infrastructure manager on site. In safety-critical situations, always treat the applicable rules and announcements of the competent party as leading.

All posts and experiences that I share via Dutchbeard channels (on Dutchbeard websites, in apps, on a blog, or via social media under the name Dutchbeard) are written in a personal capacity. They reflect my own opinion and experiences, and not necessarily those of my employer(s) or other organisations I am connected to. Photos that I share are only taken and published when this is permitted from a safety and privacy perspective.

6. Changes to this disclaimer

I may amend this disclaimer from time to time, for example because the Dutchbeard services are expanded or because regulations change. The date at the top of this document indicates when the disclaimer was last amended. In the event of material changes, I will inform registered users reasonably in advance, for example by email or via a notification in the portal.
